The Ningaloo Research Centre will be a shore based resource centre supporting researchers by providing them with an adequate facility for marine and terrestrial research. It will be a Centre for Excellence through its facilities for research, teaching and training, accommodation and public education. As well as being a place where research on the Ningaloo Reef, Cape Range and Exmouth Gulf is carried out, the Ningaloo Research Centre will be a repository for all research carried out, and data collected, in these areas.
